Nintendo has today revealed that the Wii Channels for worldwide weather and news will not be available until December 20th and January 27th respectively. Although this is a minor blow, it certainly won’t affect Australia as much as it will the US who will have to wait over a month to find out tomorrow’s weather.

We have however been promised a very cool looking 3D globe which will display a worldwide weather map on the Forecast Channel. You can jump to your location on the map and see what the outlook is, and decide whether you should be staying in and playing on the Wii when it’s raining or staying in and playing when there is glorious sunshine!
