WarioWare: Smooth Moves Out Now
Today, 25th January, marks the launch of one of the most highly anticipated Wii games so far. WarioWare has been somewhat of a mainstay for Nintendo over several console generations now, the most recent being the DS edition ‘Touched’, one of the games using the stylus and mic on the DS to it’s full capability. Smooth Moves uses the Wiimote in the same fashion and you find yourself using the controller in ways you couldn’t even have imagined.
If you do one thing today, head down to the mall and get WarioWare: Smooth Moves.

Well I have to say my initial impressions were not very good.
Firstly I do understand the graphics are very specifically themed… but having said that, they could have been updated and in some cases not felt like I was playing on a SNES.
Whats worse is that me and a friend lined up ready to play only to be unable to have 2 people playing at once….. Not the best off the bat.
Things might change the further into it I get but there is nothing more annoying and frustrating when you are forced into playing the game a certain way (ie play story mode as a single player like you do in Rabbid Rabbits) before you can enjoy it as a group. I thought Nintendo was all about getting everybody into the action?
