First Looks at Aussie Retail Wii

Perhaps the most interesting part is that the Wii Sports box, is a traditional plastic case, rather than the cheap cardboard one that the US retail package included. Also worth noting is that Wii Play will be available at launch in Australia, whereas in the US they have to wait until January to get get hold of it. Head inside for pics.

eBay, the world’s largest online marketplace, has restricted sellers who are pre-selling Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3 order through online auctions. The move now limits each user to 1 auction and the seller must provide proof of their pre-order so that no buyers get caught out in fraudulent sales. A preapproved selection of eBay’s finest however have been deemed above this restriction and are free to sell as many consoles as they like, provided they can prove they will have them in stock on launch.
